In loving memory of John Barnette, a remarkable individual whose legacy extends far beyond his 50 years of dedicated service to the Jack Bradley Agency. John’s journey in the insurance industry began in 1966, where his passion for serving others flourished. In 1970, he took the helm of the agency, steering it towards excellence and unwavering commitment to his clientele.
Beyond his professional endeavors, John’s heart overflowed with generosity and compassion. His involvement with the Cornelia Kiwanis Club and various charitable organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Sharing & Caring, and the Habersham County Veterans Wall of Honor, reflected his deep-rooted desire to uplift his community.
Despite his busy schedule, John found solace in nurturing his garden and assisting his wife with her flowers, despite his allergic reaction to bee stings, showcasing his resilience and selflessness. His penchant for beekeeping and his habit of planting excess corn underscored his innate generosity, as he delighted in sharing his bountiful harvest with others.
A man of unwavering faith, John’s commitment to his church, Level Grove Baptist, served as a cornerstone of his values and beliefs.
John Barnette’s legacy will endure through the countless lives he touched, the kindness he bestowed, and the indelible mark he left on the community he loved. May his spirit of service and compassion continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
